For your consideration is an awesome, gemmy opal DOUBLET. This is an old-stock gem from  my personal collection.  Its made with Coober Pedy crystal opal on an ironstone base. It features brightness (4/5) non-directional red multicolors.
This buff-top, freeform-cut  gem weighs 10.98 carats.  It measures 22mm long by 14mm wide by 4.5 mm deep. This beauty is crack-free, highly polished, and ready!  Perfect for your designer pendant!   As ever, this is an untreated gemstone.
